DeForest Kelley: A Harvest of Memories: My Life and Times with a Remarkable Gentleman Actor. By Kristine M. Smith; 1stBooks2001, 326p.
Written by Kelley's official Walk-of-Fame star polisher, this is a charming chronicle of a fan's connection to the Kelleys from idolizing teen to friend and final caregiver. A must for fans. Read the reviews at Amazon.com, but buy it directly from AuthorHouse: www.Authorhouse.com. It's worth buying the electronic edition as well for access to better quality photographs; it's just a few more dollars.

From Sawdust to Stardust. Biography. Expected winter of 2004.

Other Star Trek actors' autobiographies:
Most of these have surprisingly little to say about De, but here they are:

1995. Nimoy, Leonard. I Am Spock. Hyperion. 342p.
[Kudos to Mr. Nimoy for actually having his book indexed!]

1994. Nichols, Nichelle. Beyond Uhura. Putnam. 320p.

1994. Takei, George. To the Stars. Pocket. 406.
[This is perhaps the most interesting of the Trek autobiographies, chronicling Takei's childhood in relocation camps during World War II and his adolescence in an L.A. barrio along with his acting and political career. And he really did write it himself.]

1994. Shatner, William and Chris Kreski. Star Trek Movie Memories. HarperCollins. 357p.

1993. Shatner, William and Chris Kreski. Star Trek Memories. HarperCollins. 306p.

Sundry Star Trek books:

1988. Asherman, Allan. Star Trek Interview Book. Pocket.
"DeForest Kelley" p. 39-50. [Asherman reports doing another interview with De in 1982]

1993. Van Hise, James. The Classic Trek Crew Book. Pioneer.
"Just a Country Doctor" p. 83-89
"Talking With the Good Doc" p. 92-97.
