The Star Trek Animated Series
The animated cartoon in the early 70's? Well, Gene Roddenberry, of course, was approached about it and Gene had never given up with Star Trek. He always had a feeling that something would happen with it, I think. And so during my conversation with Gene at the time he said, "De, I think we ought to do it because it will just give more life to it and maybe somebody will pay attention down the road." And I think he was absolutely right. It did kind of juice it up a little bit and get people thinking about it. And I have to give Gene great credit for that.
