North Shore Animal League
Oh, the North Shore Animal League, yes, indeed. That is a charity that I have become interested in, and so is a wonderful group of people that Sue Keenan leads, and has raised... Are there any of those people here? Oh, for goodness sake, there they all are. Right in front of me. My God. Yeah. So, anyhow, when we were in New York, we were invited to come out to the North Shore Animal League. This is a very remarkable organization. So Carolyn and I went out there and spent the day and had a wonderful time. This is an organization that saves animals. They go... they will go to kennels and take them out, those that are going to be done away with, and bring them back to this place. And the sick they nurse back to health, they put ‘em into shape, they have these vets there working around the clock. And people come from all over to adopt these animals. It’s just a remarkable place, and we’ve become very interested in it. It was a remarkable experience for us to go out there, and to go through that facility and see what these people do . I’ve never seen anything like it in my life, really heartwarming. I know there are a lot of charities -- human charities – that are very, very important and it may sound trite to some people, but it does seem that these poor animals are being neglected and abused in so many ways, that, boy, it really wrings your heart when you go out there and see somebody doing stuff like that. Love it.

[Q: thanking him for doing a PSA voice over for United ? Foundation]
Oh, the public service announcement. Pardon? Oh, it’ll be ready in 3 months. Well thank you very much. I was pleased to do it. I did one for the Heart Association, too.
