Star Trek TOS Zinedex: Authors (O)

M. Octyme
"Abrasions & Contusions"      Pegasus #1 Nov. 1976 (p. 151-168)
Surrealistic farce of 'Sock' being killed in various ways. More tedious than funny.

E. Oldham
"A Sensitive Area"     Duet #8, 1984 (p.23-25)
Vignette spoofing the H/C genre. Kirk and Spock are battered in an earthquake; Spock drags himself to the unconscious captain to be sure that "the Captain's log was uninjured."

Gladys Oliver
"They"     Log Entries #23, April 1979 (p.42-44)
Stream-of-consciousness of Mother Horta as she encounters the Trio in "Devil in the Dark."

Ellen O'Neil
** Living In Spite of Logic    (novel) December, 1990, 131p.
Mirror-Spock pulls a switch to find out the secret of the Tantalus device, leaving our Spock confused and subject to prison in the Empire, his only help the frightened and alcoholic Mirror-McCoy -- who knows the secret but hopes to make Spock take the fall for him. Superbly written. My choice for the single best TOS fan novel in existence.

Becca Oroukin
"To Slay or Not To Slay: Why We Write Get ‘Em Stories - And Love ‘Em"     Interphase #3, August 1976 (p. 98-105)
[with Connie Faddis]
Article.

Julie Osburn
"Two Vignettes"     R & R #10, Summer 1979 (p. 71-73)
Reconciliations between Spock and Sarek in the aftermath of "Journey to Babel."

* "Third Time's a Charm"     R & R #11, Fall 1979 (p. 99-102)
Uhura's first encounters with her new captain, all of them jinxed.
